RX to Go
RX to Go is a convenient prescription medication service provided at no extra charge. Our pharmacist is familiar with the needs of oncology patients and is in regular contact with your physician. We specialize in oncology medications, which are not always carried at local pharmacies. If we don’t have your prescribed medication in stock, we will locate it for you. To ensure that you are well informed, you will receive personal follow-up calls from the pharmacist.
Whether we carry your prescription in house or locate it for you elsewhere, we will fill your prescriptions and ship directly to your local clinic or your home. Co-pays are handled conveniently via telephone with a credit card.
How You Can Help
Check to be sure that we have your current phone number(s). Once you are contacted by Rx to Go, verify your current shipping address, along with your billing information for the co-payments. We don’t want you to experience any delays in your treatment routine.
Check with your provider to make sure that your medications are part of your benefits. Your physician will go over all the specifics about your medication(s) when he or she meets with you. Once the prescription is sent to Rx to Go, our pharmacist will also check your benefits to ensure coverage. Florida Cancer Specialists will work with you should there be any coverage gaps. Some insurance providers require customers to use their own pharmacy. We are happy to work with your provider to meet any requirements.
It’s not unusual to find that you have questions days or even weeks after you visit with your doctor and begin your medication routine. Our in-house pharmacist is available to answer your questions throughout your treatment.
