Mahender Yellu, MBBS, MD, MHA
Dr. Mahender Yellu earned his medical degree from the Gandhi Medical College (India) and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Brooklyn/St. John’s Episcopal Hospital (Brooklyn, New York). After his residency, Dr. Yellu worked as an inpatient medical doctor before accepting a research/clinical medicine position in bone marrow transplantation at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (Cincinnati, Ohio). In addition to being involved in various clinical research projects, he taught and mentored medical students. He was later awarded a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (Cincinnati, Ohio). After receiving his medical degree, he obtained his Masters in Health and Health Care Administration from the Western Kentucky University (Bowling Green, Kentucky).
As a respected cancer researcher, Dr. Yellu is actively engaged in several clinical studies; he has also served as a peer reviewer and has been published in several professional journals, such as Clinical Lymphoma Myeloma & Leukemia, and Hematological Oncology.
