During her residency, Dr. Sai distinguished herself as Chief Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where she also gained significant experience in bone marrow transplantation during her fellowship at New York University Hospital. During her training and in her practice she has participated in clinical research and has been a principal investigator for several research projects.
