Alexander Glick, MD
Dr. Glick is a medical oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Sarasota and Charlotte Counties. After earning his undergraduate degree at Wayne State University and his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Alexander Glick completed his internal medicine residency at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI. He then pursued a fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, MI, where he served as Chief Fellow. During his fellowship, Dr. Glick was faculty-selected to become the first recipient of the Freeman Wilner Foundation award for dedication to excellence, commitment to patients, and providing compassionate care. Dr. Glick has an avid interest in clinical research and has been published in leading oncology journals. Throughout his career, Dr. Glick has volunteered by educating his local community on the pathology of cancer, its prevention and treatment. He joined FCS in 2016 and is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Glick enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading and following Detroit sports.
