Tony Kurian, MD

Dr. Kurian is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Sarasota County.

Dr. Kurian received his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. While completing his internal medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, he was named as chief resident and served as a clinical preceptor for first and second-year medical students. Dr. Kurian completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology with a specialty in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, where he was named as chief fellow.

Dr. Kurian is actively involved in clinical research and his work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at industry forums.

Passionate about community service, Dr. Kurian has participated in several medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and volunteered his time to assist underserved adults as well as homeless youth.

He joined FCS in 2022.
