Austin Cox, PharmD
Vice President, Pharmacy ServicesAustin serves as vice president, pharmacy services, where he is responsible for advancing patient-centered care through operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic growth initiatives.
With more than a decade of experience in pharmaceutical strategy, contracting, and oncology pharmacy operations, Austin brings deep expertise in balancing patient access, clinical quality, and financial performance. He most recently served as FCS senior director of trade & GPO relations, where he led enterprise pharmaceutical strategy, negotiated high-value contracts, and developed innovative approaches to optimize value and mitigate risk across the organization.
Before joining FCS, Austin co-founded and operationalized a fully accredited medically-integrated oncology pharmacy, Alabama Rx, where he successfully built clinical programs, achieved national accreditations, and advanced patient care delivery across multiple sites. His background uniquely combines operational excellence, financial stewardship, and deep clinical integration.
Actively involved with several community oncology partners, Austin has served as an executive council member of NCODA since 2017 and as the Community Oncology Pharmacy Alliance co-chair since 2022.
Austin earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University’s Harrison College of Pharmacy.
