Shaachi Gupta, MD, MPH
Dr. Gupta is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Palm Beach County. She is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology, and transfusion medicine.
Dr. Gupta believes in a team approach to treat cancer with the patient at the center of care. She takes pride in ensuring that patients leave her office with all their questions answered. To ensure the best outcomes, she provides evidence-based cancer care that considers patients’ wishes and goals, exploring new treatment options while addressing all aspects of life, family, and well-being.
Dr. Gupta received her medical degree from Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra, India. After graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with a Master of Public Health, she completed her internal medicine residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Gupta was then awarded a fellowship in transfusion medicine at Harvard Medical School-Brigham and Women’s Hospital followed by a hematology and oncology fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Prior to joining FCS, Dr. Gupta led breast cancer research at Arizona Oncology and served as a principal investigator in multiple studies with a focus on breast cancer.
