Arushi Thaper, MD
Dr. Thaper is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Orange County.
She earned her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, before completing her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Thaper is board-certified in internal medicine and hematology.
Dr. Thaper provides comprehensive care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, combining evidence-based treatments with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. She is dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care throughout every stage of a patient’s journey.
An active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. Thaper has been recognized for her academic excellence, leadership and commitment to patient care. Her honors include induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, the Caroline McConnell McGill M.D. Award, the American College of Physicians Outstanding Resident Award, the Susan M. Bryan Humanism Award and selection as Chief Fellow for 2025–2026.
