Brett L. Parra, MD
Dr. Parra is a board-certified urologist and urologic robotic surgeon with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pensacola. He provides surgical and medical treatment for diseases and abnormalities of the male and female urinary system and the male external and internal genital system.
Dr. Parra earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University College of Medicine in Shreveport, graduating as salutatorian of his class. He completed residency training in urology at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport and specialized training in robotic prostatectomy.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Parra practiced at Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi and served as director/principal investigator and clinical instructor. Prior to joining FCS in 2026, Dr. Parra practiced in Pensacola with Woodlands Medical Specialists, providing comprehensive cancer care to patients across Northwest Florida and southern Alabama.
Dedicated to community service, he is a member of the Suburban-West Rotary Club of Pensacola and St. Paul Catholic Church.
