Coyt A. Rountree, MD

Dr. Rountree is a board-certified radiation oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pensacola.

After earning his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, Dr. Rountree completed residency training in radiation oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he was named chief resident.

Prior to joining FCS in 2026, Dr. Rountree practiced in Pensacola with Woodlands Medical Specialists, providing comprehensive treatment to patients across Northwest Florida and southern Alabama. He previously served as a radiation therapist at Oconee Regional Cancer Center in Dublin, Georgia, where he began his medical career as a clinical assistant and patient advocate.

Dr. Rountree has actively engaged in advocacy efforts to enhance access and delivery of medical imaging and radiation therapy. He has served in volunteer leadership positions with the American Red Cross in Georgia.

He enjoys wildlife, music, golf, and a wide range of outdoor and water sports.
