Sean Cohen, MD
Dr. Cohen is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Ocala.
He earned his medical degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Cohen completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Florida. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.
Dr. Cohen provides comprehensive care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, with training in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His clinical interests include the treatment of all cancer types and benign and malignant hematologic disorders, with a focus on solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, immunotherapy and precision cancer medicine.
Drawn to oncology by the rapid advancements in cancer care and the intellectual challenge of treating a diverse range of complex diseases, Dr. Cohen values the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients during critical moments in their lives.
