Kiana Mehring
Senior Vice President, Payer Strategy, Revenue Cycle Operations & Value-Based CareKiana plays an instrumental role in advancing an integrated approach to payer strategy, revenue cycle operations, and value-based care. She leads with a focus on aligning people, processes, and programs into a cohesive ecosystem that supports both clinical excellence and strong financial performance, while fostering collaboration and unifying payer contracting, value-based initiatives, and revenue cycle operations under a shared, enterprise-wide vision.
Through this approach, Kiana and her team develop and implement coordinated programs that strengthen partnerships between payers and providers, improve operational efficiency, and support the long-term success of FCS. She is also focused on building and empowering a high-performing revenue cycle organization, including the continued evolution of a Revenue Cycle Center of Excellence to standardize best practices and drive continuous improvement.
With a strong understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape, Kiana previously served as senior director of strategic partnerships and managed care at FCS. She is known for building trusted payer relationships and designing innovative payment models that balance cost, quality, and patient outcomes. Previously, she held roles at American Oncology Network and Sanford Health, where she supported network strategy, payer relations, contracting, and efficiencies in claims management.
Kiana holds a Master of Business Administration in healthcare from the University of Sioux Falls and graduated summa cum laude from Crossroads College in Minnesota. She is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network and holds certifications in Leadership in Oncology Navigation (LION), Principles of Practice Management (PPMC), Revenue Cycle (CRCR), and Specialist Payment and Reimbursement (CSPR).
