Shailesh J. Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pensacola.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Patel completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He then completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.

Dr. Patel provides comprehensive care for patients with cancer and blood disorders and has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has been practicing in the Pensacola area for more than two decades, including with Woodlands Medical Specialists and Hematology-Oncology Associates.

Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
