Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Welcomes Four New Physicians Across Florida
New specialists in oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and urology join FCS communities statewide
Fort Myers, Fla., October 5, 2026 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) welcomes medical oncologists and hematologists Tiewei Cheng, MD, Swathi Gopishetty, MD, radiation oncologist Maxwell Tran, MD, and urologist, Brian Ceballos, MD, to the statewide practice. Their addition expands access to comprehensive, personalized cancer, blood disorder and urology care for patients in Florida.
- Dr. Ceballos will provide care to patients at FCS North Davis, located at 4724 North Davis Hwy, Suite 100, Pensacola, FL 32503; FCS 9 Mile, located at 161 E. 9 Mile Road, Suite 100, Pensacola, FL 32534, and FCS Airport Medical Park, located at 1549 Airport Blvd., Suite 440, Pensacola, FL 32504.
- Dr. Cheng will see patients at FCS Port Orange, located at 1726 Dunlawton Ave
Port Orange, FL 32127, and FCS Ormond Beach, located at 325 Clyde Morris Blvd Ste 450, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
- Dr. Gopishetty will provide care to patients at the Brandon Cancer Center, located at 403 S Kings Ave Ste 100, Brandon, FL 33511 and FCS Sun City Center, located at 4051 Upper Creek Dr, Ste 103b, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
- Dr. Tran will see patients at the Villages Cancer Center located at 1400 N US Highway 441, Ste 540, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
Dr. Ceballos earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his residency in urology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by a fellowship in genitourinary prosthetics and reconstruction at Urology Clinics of North Texas in Carrollton, Texas.
Dr. Ceballos has a specialized interest in men’s health, prosthetic urology and genitourinary reconstruction. He is committed to creating a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel at ease discussing deeply personal concerns, helping them regain both function and confidence.
David Wenk, MD, FCS assistant managing physician, said, “Dr. Ceballos’s expertise in urologic care and commitment to personalized, patient-centered treatment makes him a valuable addition to our team. His presence will expand access to comprehensive urologic services in Pensacola while strengthening our ability to coordinate care for patients with both general urologic needs and conditions related to cancer diagnosis and treatment.”
Dr. Cheng earned his medical degree from Wenzhou Medical University in Wenzhou, China. He received his PhD in Experimental Therapeutics at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Texas (UT) MD Anderson Cancer Center and UTHealth Houston. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio and fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Kansas Cancer Center.
Dr. Cheng specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in medical oncology and hematology.

Dr. Gopishetty earned her medical degree from Dr.Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Science in Gannavaram, India. She completed her residency in internal medicine at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital/Wayne Institute in Detroit, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Gopishetty specializes in diagnosing and treating cancer and blood disorders, providing comprehensive, personalized care in medical oncology and hematology.

Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in radiation oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He is board certified in radiation oncology.
